Phone: 864-992-2352 Please leave a message if you want to get called back.... It's hard to answer the phone while I'm netting a fish. I will call back as soon as I possibly can. No calls or texts after 9:00 pm Please!!!

If you want fishing tips then please check out some of the websites that I built especially to provide tips and techniques. There's nothing that I can tell you on the phone that is not already written down and even has illustrations of methods on these websites to look at. Here they are... Catfish Tips and Lake Monticello Tips There's also links on the homepage to many instructional articles on fishing methods and tips. You can also send me an email if you have a particular question about fishing tips and I will answer it as soon as possible. Your much better off sending me an email with your question rather than calling me because I dont have much time to answer the phone, especially when I'm on the water. You will usually get a quicker response that way.

Q: How long does the trip last?
A: It depends on how the fish bite. Some days the bite may be a little slower and we may have to fish 6 to 8 hours. Some days, particular during the hot summer weather, we can fill the cooler or reach our limit of striper in a just a few hours and get off the lake before it gets to hot. It's all about comfort.

Q: What weather conditions are to bad?
A: 25+ mph wind. Dont mind fishing in a little rain but no lighting.

Q: What if a trip has to be postponed?
A: If I call the trip off, due to bad weather or poor bite, then another date will be scheduled and the $100 deposit will go toward that date.

Q: Is fish cleaning provided?
A: No, there isn't any fish cleaning stations at any of the boat ramps that I use.

Q: Can I bring alchohol?
A: A few beers is fine but absolutely no liquor... It's illegal to have it on the boat anyway.

Q: Do I need a SC fishing license?
A: Yes, anyone 16 years old and over must have a fishing license.
Q: Why do I need to send a deposit?

A: Theres alot of time and money involved in getting ready for a trip. Such as....spending time catching bait the evening before. Filling up the truck and boat with gas and driving to the lake that morning. If nobody shows up, then the guide is out of that time and money. The deposit, at least, re-emburses the guide for some of the expense.

Q: Why is the deposit non-refundable?

A: The guide has to plan their schedule around the date that is decided on. Often times, several customers will want the same date. If a customer decides they dont want to go at the last minute, not only does the guide not have any control of that but they are also out of money because the date could have been filled by someone else.
